It’s been a little while since I’ve updated the blog to reflect articles I’ve published elsewhere – so accept my apologies for my tardiness – I assume you, I’ve not gone anywhere and not stopped writing!
My latest article is online over at SearchExchange, where I explain the new feature in Windows Azure Active Directory Sync (aka DirSync) which allows you to avoid using Active Directory Federation Services and sync hashes of your on-premises passwords to Office 365. This allows your users to login to Office 365 using their on-premises credentials with no dependency on the availability of on-premises services, except of course for ensuring DirSync pushes new users and password changes to the cloud.
