UCBug Slides – Using the free KEMP Loadmaster for multi-site AD FS geo load balancing

I had the pleasure of attending UCBUG – the Unified Communications Birmingham User Group on the 13th May and presenting about how to the new free KEMP LoadMaster for Geo-Load Balancing services like AD FS.

That’s right – you can use it as a free load balancer to support a global implementation of ADFS or potentially other services. Whether you should is another matter, but it’s certainly worth considering and a better option than my free HAProxy based Load Balancer.

To view the slides from both my session and Lync MVP and fellow UC Architect Tom Arbuthnot’s session on Skype for Business, click here or on my face below.

If you are around the UK Midlands area and haven’t been to UCBUG, then I certainly recommend coming along – our next gathering is on the 12th of August. We are a friendly bunch and range between about 20 to 30 of us each time. If you do attend please say hello!

On another note if you attend the London equivalent (though more Lync/SFB focused than UBUG which covers Exchange & Office 365 too) then I should be attending on the 11th June. More details here.
