I’m very proud to announce that I’ll be speaking at Office 365 Engage this year, held in Haalem, in the Netherlands from the 19th to 22nd June. It’s the largest non-Microsoft conference in Europe dedicated to Office 365. If it’s predecessor, IT Unity Connect 2016, was anything to go by it’s well worth attending. The venue, Philharmonie Haarlem is absolutely fantastic and certainly one of the best locations I’ve had the pleasure of attending and speaking at.
This year Tony Redmond has been responsible for the technical tracks and as a result the speaker line-up is very impressive. I’m joined by fellow UC Architects Tom Arbuthnot, Michael Van Horenbeeck, Michel de Rooij and Andrew Price – plus there’s many more top speakers (rather than name them all.. just check out the speaker list!)
I’ve decided to talk about stuff I’ve been finding pretty interesting lately and also present some rather fresh sessions you won’t have seen in any form before. The result of that is four (yes four) sessions –
Getting Away from Google — Best Practises for Migrating to Office 365
Moves to Office 365 from Google Suite are becoming common – but in today’s world of mature adoption, it’s not just Mail you need to consider. In this session, we’ll take you all the way from identity, through migration of different workloads and help you understand what your options are – and how to avoid getting it wrong.
What You Need to Know About Migrating to Exchange Online in 2017
So after you buy Office 365, Microsoft turns up and migrates you to the cloud. Job done. Or do they? In this session, we’ll take you through what you really need to know — and can’t ignore — about migrating Exchange, and the bits that go along with it, into the cloud.
Using Exchange Online to Classify and Secure Mail
You’ve got Exchange Online, but need to ensure that people don’t accidently send messages to the wrong people, and that confidential material can be secured appropriately. In this 20 minutes of wisdom, you will learn how to combine classifications, transport rules and message encryption to solve this issue.
Options for Staying Compliant in Exchange Online
There are a variety of options for making sure you keep mail for as long as the organization needs. In this 20 minutes of wisdom session we’ll walk through the various options available in Exchange Online, and help you understand where the line blurs into the rest of the suite. You’ll walk away understanding the benefits and pitfalls of each approach.
